Irvine Watchdog Sniffs Out Process Issues

Irvine Watchdog members Branda Lin and Richard Green return, for the whole hour, to speak in advance of the Irvine City Council’s meeting the same day of the broadcast. This show will hone in on some persistent erosions in transparency and accountability in how the City Council conducts business. The Watchdog will offer means for listeners to turn out the same day of this broadcast. Orange County Power Authority; Brokers for Whom?

Irvine Watchdog Co-chair, Richard Green looks under the hood of the recently created OC Power Authority; transparency and accountability are in very short supply, residents and ratepayers in: Irvine, Huntington Beach, and Fullerton. Watchdog is keeping an eye on the Racquet Club of Irvine property as plans for rezoning and an amendment to Irvine’s General Plan are being considered. In the super heating real estate market of Irvine, we all can keep an eye on a flurry of rezoning to bid up the value of properties around the city.
