For the entire hour, CA State Senate candidate Dr. Ari Grayson, running as a Democrat in the 37th District, brings his design and psychology background to bear on public policy. He is challenging incumbent John Moorlach, a certified public accountant and former Orange County office holder, who won the special election in March of 2015, when Mimi Walters vacated that seat when she was elected to the US Congress the previous fall. Senator John Moorlach, will appear on this program on May 31st, availing all of us the chance to get familiar with both candidates who will advance to the general election as they are the only two candidates who have filed to run for this office.

After the recent National Acceptance Day for graduate programs in genetic counseling, we tap into what a group of UCI students aspire with this leading edge practice. Jessica Greenwood, Brittany Keiser, and Kira Lee – co-founders and member respectively of UCI’s Genetic Counseling Special Interest Group- bring us to the intersection of biology and ethics in this growing field.
