Making Their Peace With El Salvador Posted on August 12, 2014 by Claudia Shambaugh Rossana Perez and Sara Aguilar, mother and daughter pair based in LA, are collaborating on a documentary film capturing the El Salvadoran diaspora. Their experience of threats and conflict from the 1970’s and 1980’s are themes that continue as fellow Salvadorans make their passage toward and through the US border to this day.
