Don Fisher, served as a gunner on a B-17 during World War II. On this program he talks vividly about training for that role, the moment when his aircraft was shot down in April 1943, his hiding in the French countryside, and how the French underground saw to his relocation to Paris where he remained for a year and a half until the liberation of France. He talks of all the near catastrophes along the way.
