New Swan Theater’s Sizzling Summer 2013 Season AND 350.org and the Sizzling Planet

UCI School of the Arts Drama Director, Eli Simon in talking about this summer’s New Swan Theater season, offers a tribute to Dudley Knight. Emeritus Professor Knight, who was slated to perform in the title role of “King Lear”, passed away last month, with Henson Keys filling in as capably as anyone, to perform that special role. Eli Simon explains how the compellingly spare New Swan theater creates special circumstances for adapting the settings for: “King Lear,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and the “Fantasticks.” More information for tickets and other logistics is available at: www.arts.uci.edu/tickets or 949-824-2787.
